Established, tested and dependable

Wasp provides equipment to more than 250 different fire departments and wildfire equipment distributors throughout the United States, Canada and Australia. 

The WASP Gutter Mount Sprinkler Brackets were developed for firefighters. 

A timeline of when and how these Brackets became so essential -

2016:  BC Wildfire Services (through the Office of the Fire Commissioner) purchased 40 of the WASP Gutter Mount Sprinkler Brackets for evaluation in real world conditions. 

2017: After a year of extensive testing, BC Wildfire Services purchased 2,300 additional brackets to add to their wildfire protection fleet.

2018: BC Wildfire purchases an Urban Specific SPU (Structure Protection Unit) dedicated to storing and transporting these essential brackets.

Since then, all SPUs used by BC Wildfire Services require WASP brackets as part of their mandatory equipment list.

WASP is the largest manufacturer and supplier of mobile structure protection units throughout North America. The Structure Protection Units (SPUs) are fully equipped to protect any size structure or group of structures and help protect assets such as individual homes, residential subdivisions, universities, resorts, lodges and hotels, ranches, wineries and large industrial sites.



Supporting communities at risk from wildfires

WASP has developed a specialized community program providing the opportunity for fire departments to raise funds through the sales of our WASP Residential Wildfire Protection Kits. This program is currently being successfully utilized by hundreds of fire departments across North America.
