WASP rentals available
WASP Structure Protection Units (SPUs) are fully equipped to protect any size structure or group of structures and help protect assets such as individual homes, residential subdivisions, universities, resorts, lodges and hotels, ranches and large industrial sites. Mobile trailers can be rented with or without certified wildfire crews.
Not a single structure was lost
In 2023, three WASP SPU trailers and one senior staff member were sent to assist in a deployment to protect over 500 structures in one town for Cenovus Energy. The town was surrounded by a 180,000 hectare (444,780 acre) wildfire. Our senior staff member worked closely with local firefighters to deploy and manage the equipment, and then stayed on site for 23 days to supervise and continually assess the situation. During the deployment the only highway leading in and out of town became burned over and impassable and the town lost power, cell service and hydrant pressure. Despite these challenging conditions, the WASP SPU trailers were able to continue protecting the town through the use of portable bladders and gas powered pumps. The town did not lose a single structure.

WASP SET TO OFFER BURNBOSS TRAILERABLE FIREBOX UNITS FOR RENT
The patented BurnBoss is the first trailerable FireBox. It was originally designed to support the U.S. Forest Service and its effort to prevent wildfires. Today, this advanced wood waste reduction equipment is used in many applications, including construction and agriculture. The BurnBoss is a self-contained, completely assembled above-ground Air Curtain Burner with a refractory lined burn-container. A small onboard diesel engine powers the air curtain fan. This unit is self- contained and fully assembled, supported by a rugged steel frame. Tandem axles with custom-designed torsion modules provide a safe and comfortable ride while towing. This unit can be towed with a standard heavy-duty pickup and contains all lighting, reflectors, and trailer VIN required for licensing. The FireBox uses the special Air Burners thermal ceramic panels to line the burn chamber, protecting the frame and running gear. The average throughput of this machine is 5 to 10 cubic yards of typical forest slash per hour.
